The Museum of Icons is an island of Old Russian art in Tallinn's Old Town, home to the largest private collection of icons in Estonia. The museum's collection of more than 800 sacred icons presents icons in all their richness, representing different styles and schools, with the oldest exhibits dating back to the 16th century. The core of the museum is made up of icons created by the Old Believers, including the world's most representative collection of the works of the workshop of Gavriil Frolov, Estonia's most famous icon painter.
